Why do I need an Ethereum Smart Contract supported address to receive my coins?
Bitit is using Smart Contracts to send Ethereum transactions, and some exchanges do not accept Smart Contract deposits.
When adding your Ethereum adress on Bitit, please make sure your Ethereum wallet accepts Smart Contracts. If it does not, your funds will be probably lost, with no refunds possible from Bitit.
In principle, there is no reason why an exchange should not accept transfers from a Smart Contract, but supporting this deposit type presents particular technical challenges.
If you aren’t sure, please open a MyEtherWallet, to receive funds from Bitit, then you’ll be able to send a non-contract transaction to the exchange of your choice.
We do not recommend sending Ethereum directly to exchanges. Please contact the exchange before making a transfer.
